HorseAbility is located on the border of Nassau and Suffolk Counties on a beautiful 33-acre complex at the Thomas School of Horsemanship in Melville, New York. Our facilities include a private 10 stall barn as well as access to additional stalls at the Thomas School of Horsemanship, tack room, 3 storage areas, office and bathroom facilities, indoor and outdoor riding rings, petting zoo, sports field, basketball and tennis courts, riding trails, outdoor playground, gymnastics floor, two swimming pools, nurses station and an arts and crafts building. In this lovely atmosphere, HorseAbility’s well-qualified and caring certified instructors, therapists and volunteers provide its participants with safe and fun horseback riding lessons, therapy treatments, equine facilitated therapy and a camp experience along with other programs that aim to promote physical, psychological, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being to individuals with special needs.
