Finals At The Hampton Classic 2007
August 27, 2007 Sixteen HorseAbility Show Team riders competed
in the LIHSSRD finals at the Hampton Classic Horse Show. Congratulations
to Champions Tara Smilowitz and April Klofpher and Reserve
Champions Kelsey Renz and Tory Natale, and to all of the competitors
who rode in the finals!!!

LIHSSRD Finals At The Hampton Classic 20006

Camp
HorseAbility 2006
August 25, 2006 Camp HorseAbility was great! Campers enjoyed
activities that included arts and crafts, ride, swim, indoor
sports, outdoor sports, circus workshops, horse drawn carriage
rides, drum circles, crazy hat/hair day, picture day, family
day, horse show, art show, family BBQ, and a circus performance
by the National Circus Project. We had over 200 volunteers
join us for camp week.

Aloha
Ketcham Luau 2006
July 30th - HorseAbility held an awards celebration at our
newly opened second facility in Northport. The use of the
facility is generously donated by the Carlson Family. Outstanding
riders and volunteers received awards. The party was filled
with fun activities including face painting, pony rides, dancing,
limbo, hoola-hoop contests, water balloon contests, raffles,
prizes, giveaways, and much more. Everyone came dressed in
their Hawaiian best to say Aloha to the new facility, cheer
on the award winners, and to have fun.

LIHSSRD @ Salt River Farms
July 23, 2006 Thirteen HorseAbility show team riders rode
in the Salt River Farm horse show on July 23rd. All riders
did an excelent job. With just one show remainig before the
finals at the Hampton Classic things are getting very exciting!

First Show Team Meeting at Ketchan Farm
July 9, 2006 HorseAbility held it's first HorseAbility Show
Team meeting. The meeting was held at our newly opened second
location at Ketcham Farm. Ketcham farm was recently fully
redone from the office to the landscaping to the ring. The
barn is a historic site, and is maintained beautifully. Bird
houses can be found all around the barn. At the meeting, current
points and upcoming shows were discussed as well as the Finals
at the Hampton Classic. Pictures of our show team riders and
the new location can be viewed here.

HorseAbility Spring Horse Show
The spring Horse Show was held on May 20th 2006. The weather
was beautiful. All of the riders had a great time at the show.
Congratulations to all of out ribbon and trophy winners! There
are some great pictures here of HorseAbility riders, horses,
volunteers and staff!

Ducks Game 2006
On Wednesday June 14th 2006, HorseAbility volunteers and staff
were invited to join HorseAbility for the Long Island Ducks
Game. Everyone had a great time, and the Ducks won!

Riders Participate in the LIHSSRD
May 14, 2006 HorseAbility riders participated in the Long
Island Horse Show Series for Riders with Disabilities at the
Thomas School of Horsemanship on April 15th and at the Long
Island PHA Horse Show on May 14th. Here are pictures from
